Traveling Gourmet Settles Down in Narragansett

Ann Deffley has been working catering for 35 years as The Traveling Gourmet, but now is making more permanent camp in Narragansett. A longtime local of Jamestown, Deffley’s Narragansett store will be the base of operations for her catering services, as well as serving walk-ins looking to pick something up for dinner. On offer are all the staples of heat and eat home cooking: lasagna, pot pies, shepherd’s pie and the like, as well as soups and sandwiches for the picnic crowd. Ann also has developed some menu items for those looking for healthier fare, as well as gluten-free options.
