Cheese. It is what makes the world go round, well at least for us here at SORI. This month, while we’re still in the depths of winter, tasting the best local takes on mac and cheese was a no brainer. This iconic comfort food is a must for the coldest of days, with al dente pasta submerged in warm cheesy goodness. Here are our verdicts.

Grille On Main
This tangy and creamy Baked Mac and Cheese is sure to please all cheese lovers. With a blend of gorgonzola, romano, cheddar and Monterey jack cheese, this classic is amped up with a drizzle of truffle oil to top it all off. If nachos and mac and cheese had a baby, it would resemble Mews’s Buffalo Mac and Cheese. Topped with kettle-cooked chips, this crunchy favorite has hunks of crispy bacon, chopped celery and plenty of gorgonzola cheese; all that’s left is the roasted buffalo chicken.
