TIVERTON — The contract for Town Administrator Matt Wojcik, that expires Feb. 24, has not been renewed by the Town Council. In a brief one-paragraph statement, Town Council President Joan Chabot announced the decision Wednesday night at 10:20 p.m. "After review, the employment contract of the Tiverton Town Administrator, Matthew Wojcik, will not be renewed by the Town Council. The current employment contract’s term is three years, ending on February 24, 2017, with an additional four (4) month period after that date, to June 24, 2017. Mr. Wojcik will continue to serve as Town Administrator during that time, and may apply for the position of Town Administrator during the application process," read the statement. more
